Sinister rumours concerning an eccentric family seem to be true, when a fresh body is found from a family crypt after a fire and occult practices are evident on the site.
Weird and peculiar stories have always surrounded the von Moorhaus family manor. When a fearmongering story on national paper hints occult rituals, cannibalism and grave robbing, the community demands the police to do something. A specialist on such matters, detective Spöklund, is sent to investigate. At least some parts of the story turn out to be true, when a fire in the crypt leaves behind fresh human remains and evidence of occultism. Manor residents and a few regular visitors claim innocence, but Spöklund is on the case like a bloodhound. Test your wits against detective Spöklund, by stepping into von Moorhaus manor, wonder about the strange habits of nobility, interview the butler, and solve a heated murder case!

HOW THE STORY GOES

The leading officer from SUPO’s (The Finnish Security Intelligence Service) paranormal department is in charge of the investigation in the Von Moorhaus family manor. The guests are the community living close to the manor. If the killer is found, the community will decree a suitable punishment for their crimes. The show consists of four acts, and dinner is served between acts. The guests have the opportunity to interview the actors as well.

VENUE AND EQUIPMENT
​
The show requires a stage or a large enough performance area. 2-4 tables are also needed to lay out the evidence. For groups larger than 50 people, a PA system is required (including one handheld microphone and a headset).

TIPS FOR THE SHOW
​
Parts of the show take place on the stage, but the actors spend time amongst the guests between acts, and interviewing them is encouraged.
Investigating the evidence includes some reading, so reading glasses might come in handy, if needed.
In Murder Mysteries, sharing information and cooperation are the keys to success, and by the end of the evening, each group form their own theories.
