Card-based Murder Mystery with role characters for guests, includes possibility for violence
Notorious hitmen from around the world come together to catch up with old friends and rivals. However, one is missing, as the Guild's treasurer Donnie Cash is found stabbed in the back in front of the empty cash vault on the morning of the annual meeting. Are the Guild's funds in danger and will the assassins need to get real jobs?

Murdering other members is strictly prohibited in the Guild's premises and events, so someone will pay the ultimate price for their act. It's up to the guests to decide who gets to answer for this. Finding the perpetrator isn't that easy, though, as every member of the Guild is a professional murderer and the ballroom is full of potential suspects. Become a detective and solve the case or wreak havoc and seize the power - it's your decision.

The Guild of Assassins is a great choice for company events, because it's suitable to distract you from everyday work. The upcoming events are well summed up in the Guild slogan Mors certa, hora incerta (Death is certain, the time is uncertain). The story is team-driven, as the assassins are divided into divisions operating on different continents.

CHARACTERS

No one is born a professional killer, but it is a calling. Some of the members started out as petty criminals, others are hardened professional soldiers who have seen it all. Then again, some were just rich and bored. The characters are divided into crews from different continents. Cold-bloodedness unites them, but heated competition separates them. Above them all is the Guild’s board of directors which tries to keep the peace between the crews and guide prospects into future members.

DRESS CODE

The assassins feel most comfortable in suits. The different divisions are also color coded and by wearing these colors some members like to give clues as to where their loyalties lie.

Dressing up for the Murder Mystery’s theme helps you immerse yourself in the story and we encourage such endeavors. Character sheets give some ideas of what the character might wear or look like. We want to emphasize that dressing up is not necessary, and the most important thing is to feel comfortable in whatever you choose to wear. What you can find from your own wardrobe is sufficient, but if you want to put in some extra effort, you might find what you need from costume rentals, flea markets, or party prop stores.

PROPS & ITEMS IN THE MURDER MYSTERY

This Murder Mystery uses cards (abilities, secrets, gossip, items) as props and keys to solving the case. When the program starts, Tuoni Studios’ host tells you how these cards work, and is present for the whole duration if you need any help with them later. Reading just one secret card seldom leads to any conclusions, so you’ll need more info from different cards and characters, and then start connecting the dots.
You’ll receive these cards at the start of the program, including any items your character might need.

VENUE AND EQUIPMENT

The venue should have enough seats for everyone in case of a dinner, and ample room to mingle.A dining hall, large cabinet in a restaurant or even a night club works great. There is no need for a stage or additinoal AV equipment, but the use of a microphone is recommended for groups of more than 50 people.

TIPS & TRICKS

Acting or memorizing lines are not required when taking part in a Murder Mystery. No one is forced to exit their comfort zone. However, by throwing yourself into the story and your own character, you get the most out of the program.
If you normally need glasses to read, we recommend bringing a pair.
Conveying information and co-operating with other characters are the key to success in a Murder Mystery. Try to find characters you can trust, ally with, and share information with.
Each character has their own agenda, so don’t trust everyone.
If you feel stuck, ask the Tuoni Studios’ host for help. They’ll give you more tips on how to advance with your personal goals or solving the case.
