In 1912, a new and unsinkable ocean liner sets out on its maiden voyage, but not all passengers make it to their destination alive. What happened behind the locked cabin door?

A perfect evening on a luxury cruise ship and in prestigious company is crowned by the breathtaking show of the international performer La Sirene, which the guests have gathered to watch in the dinner hall. Unfortunately, however, the show doesn't even get to start, when the chilling announcement about the body found on the ship changes the mood of the dinner. While the cruise host calms the crowd down, one of the passengers takes the case into the investigation, as the death has several features suggestive of murder. As the suspects sweat in the ship's holding cell, the detective runs towards the wave of leads. The only thing that slows down the investigations is the murder suspects' murky history intertwined with each other and the sailor who signed up to help the investigator, who hangs behind like an anchor. It is up to the guests to tie the loose ends together and decide who is the culprit. What makes the case special is that the cabin that was the scene of the murder was locked from the inside, and no one else was there. Who murdered the admired beauty and why? Was she even who she said she was? Can the solution be found from the past or the present? The only thing that is certain is that tonight on the dark waves of the Atlantic, the murder is only the tip of the iceberg.

HOW THE STORY GOES

The show consists of four acts, and dinner can be served between the acts. The guests have also the opportunity to talk with the investigators, hear the gossip circulating in the ship's corridors, and study the background of the case and evidence from the website.

VENUE AND EQUIPMENT

The show requires a stage or a large enough performance area. For events of more than 50 people, a PA system is required (including one handheld mic and two headsets). La Sirene is particularly suitable for implementation on a ship or cruise, but works just as well on land.

TIPS FOR THE SHOW

  • The detectives investigating the case will appear on stage in front of the audience, but in addition to this, they will be roaming among the guests between acts. You should talk to the investigators to get more information about the case.

  • We recommend bringing at least one smart device with charged battery and, if necessary, reading glasses. All the evidence is digitally accessible, and you get to read the gossips of your choice during the evening.

  • In Murder Mysteries, sharing information and cooperation are the keys to success, and by the end of the evening, each group form their own theories.

  • Tuoni Studios’ host is always available if questions arise or help is needed. They can also give you background information, or tips and tricks for solving the case.
